What's up?
We're prepping for our brewery open day - starts in 5 mins... Sell out... Does this mean the world has recovered? Probably not - probably more due to the tickets costing £5 and including a Triple fff Beer in that price...and the sun is shining!

This week's sales have been really mixed in terms of what was going out the door - I am SO glad we made a ton of Comfortably Numb, as it is creating a real buzz... The other beer that sold more than usual (maybe because it has been out for a week or so) is Pressed Rat & Warthog... This batch is the first from the square fermenter - and I KNOW that I preach how sacrosanct consistency is to us - but if you taste this, I think you will forgive the very subtle differences in it to previous. For me - at risk of sounding like a dog ["best day evverrr"] - it is the best batch ever [sample size only on last few years, not EVER... But still].
What's On?
Moon dance
MOONDANCE 4.2% Pale Ale - Our bestseller - nicely rounded Cascade Hop finish, almost get elderflower flavours from it... a smooth, more-ish pale ale. Best Bitter winner 2002.  https://triplefff.com/collections/core/products/moondance

ALTON’S PRIDE 3.8% Best Bitter - Traditional best bitter - full-bodied and biscuity. This is my go-to. Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2008 winner. https://triplefff.com/collections/core/products/altons-pride

SUNDOWN -4.3% Golden Ale – A Golden IPA with mild citra coming through at the end – originally brewed for the Coronation, but we ran out 3 weeks beforehand and realised we had made something pretty special. My drop of choice this week. https://triplefff.com/collections/core/products/sundown

PRESSED RAT & WARTHOG – 3.8% Dark - Chocolate and Coffee and if you find your northern roots and put it through a sparkler, you get something special. Only 3.8% with awesome body.  I shouldn't say this, running a brewery - but you know how the most refreshing thing on a hot day can be a warm cup of tea? Well in beer terms people tend to think it is a lager on a hot day that is best - whilst you can't call individual tastes wrong [well, they are!] - the most refreshing beer?- I'd be reaching for a Rat! https://triplefff.com/collections/core/products/pressed-rat-warthog

COMFORTABLY NUMB - 5% Strong Ale - Cult favourite. Spices like cinnamon and clove from the Stryan Wolf hops, a clean herbal nose. Won a ton of stuff too... https://triplefff.com/products/comfortably-numb

BARBARIAN - 4.7% Lager - Clean, crisp yet as with our general style has a full body and enduring complexity - I get notes of whiskey at the end of it - that could just be my "unique" palate though?! To me (non-lager drinker) this is delicious. Keykeg or PolyKEG - give it a go!
Coming soon... More Nothing Else Matters - geeze this has gone well - https://untappd.com/b/triple-fff-brewery-nothing-else-matters/5939891 and some Stairway... https://untappd.com/b/triple-fff-brewery-stairway/1140837
What's about? Well, what's about to happen in 12 mins is the brewery open day kicks off - so I'll keep this one shorter and just say thank you for your time... Our intern has been a Cambridge University Archeologist and I wanted to tap her very large brain about Stonehenge and stones from Scotland... What is it aboot th' Inglish that like ooor Scottish stanes eh? Yees all had wun under the throne at the West Minister Abbee, and the noo we find oot yees started the trend way back in the Stanehenge daes...
Well anyway, maybe next week we can get her informed opinion on it... For now - thanks and wish you a cracking weekend from this Glad-Stone...
